With the scores level and just over 8 mins left in the 3rd quarter of the 2008 AFL Grand Final between Hawthorn and Geelong, Michael Osborne received a free kick on the 50m line and the channel 7 cameras panned around the ground thinking he'd go back and have a shot. Hodge had snuck down from the half back line unchecked and quickly asked Osborne for the ball and ran in a few metres and kicked a crucial goal. I took footage of this game from the wing of the AFL members stand and now present to you this unseen footage. The next 8 mins for a Hawthorn supporter were the best ever!

He ran the length of the field to take that kick. I was there and saw it myself.
