At least your putting it through all conditions, mud, snow, water, the cold temps there, and the bike seems pretty good

My charger tripped my 15 amp garage outlet, but I had computers, stereos, speakers, and charging cell phone off a plug in power strip as I knew it would.I found a garage light switch that I added an outdoor receptacle through wall, and just run a short orange outdoor cord under door to just run charger only.It doesn't trip that 20 amp outlet, because the garage lights and charger are less than 20 amps.So at night I charge bike, lights are off, and it's 109 percent charge with charger shut down in morning by itself So it's really the only way, unless I use a 30amp old deer plug thats not used anymore, but works, and I can run the electronics all together on one 30 amp circuit.

Considering getting one myself. How do you like it? Hows the battery life? Any complaints?

My es1 should be arriving in a week.2 color choices, black or white, I chose black.Price with shipping was $7, 295.I read another review on this bike, there was a comment that they had changed the controller and reprogrammed his bike.Probably voided the warranty kollter puts on these.Ive never seen any really bad reviews, mostly all positive. The swap out kit for the wheels to make it a dirt bike is $1k.Its an 18" rear wheel, and 21" front in this kit.Weight of bike is 250 pounds u.s.Looks well built, designed in Germany, built in China, of course. In Europe, it is called the kollter timbot, made in Germany. The Brits have purchased a lot of these bikes in street version.

I bought the same one just black. My first bike as well and I agree needs a more power, I wouldn't mind being able to go a little faster. My battery usually last about 40-45 miles. When I first bought it though, I had to put a bigger front sprocket (17tooth) on so it would make it to 55-60mph.

I'm curious if you can remove the battery for charging? Unfortunately my garage has no electrical power connected so I would like to charge the battery in my apartment. Is it possible?

How's your throttle response? It seems like it takes some twisting before the contacts engage and sends a signal to controller that speed is wanted.I hope it's not a cable to contacts lower in frame-that throttle is purely electrical response

How does it feel riding in icey/snowy conditions? Do you find range is impacted by the cold weather?

A word of advice-dont ever deal with kollter west in Costa Mesa, CA.Go through natacyckes on the east coast, or wherever you bought it from.
