I feel like Tuomas added Troy to the band for the same reason he added Annette and Marco. Both this three members changed the band’s sound considerably and they were all a risk. With anette it didn’t work because she couldn’t perform Tarja’s songs, but Marco and Troy changed the band for the better while also being able to perform older songs. I’m not adding Floor to this list because yes she did changed the band’s sound but she wasn’t a risk. Everybody knew it was a great match, we, After Forever’s fans were expecting for this for years. It’s incredible how talented they all are for making this work.

Oof. This song is definitely suffering from a lack of Marco. It also suffers from Emppu not laying down anything Randy Rhoads like.
