I think Selby didn't seem very happy despite winning the tournament and I believe that loosing the world semi final to O'Sullivan hurt him more than any loss he's ever had.I might be reading it wrong but he seemed very subdued despite winning the tournament.

Why aren't younger players coming to the top? Ronnie has been winning titles for more than 20 years, Selby for more than 12 years.
Maybe the kids don't work as hard at their game as earlier generations did. It takes talent to be a top player - but it takes a lot of hard work as well, a huge amount of practice, to develop that talent to the full.
