I asked ChatGPT to write a comment and here it is: "I just discovered the SupertutorTV YouTube channel and I am blown away by the high-quality content and engaging teaching style! As a student, I have found the videos to be extremely helpful in understanding difficult concepts and I appreciate the clear explanations and examples provided. Keep up the great work, SupertutorTV. I actually think it's quite useful to not write the essays but to give me ideas.

The best use of ChatGPT is when you already have an essay outline and want it to piece everything together into one cohesive, interesting story. Its language use is top-notch **if** you supply it with the right information and provide it with the right keywords to nail the style of your essay. Giving it these generic essay prompts will naturally lead to generic answers, but if you are a little more creative with how you use it, it's a very powerful tool.

Hey there! I just watched your video on ChatGPT, and while I think it's a really cool tool, I feel like you could have gotten even more out of it if you had added a few more techniques or directives to your prompts. For example, if you had used the memoir prompt but added the sentence "use lots of sensory details and powerful imagery, " the AI might have produced a much more nuanced and descriptive output.

I understand that some students might be tempted to just let ChatGPT do its thing and see what comes out, but I think it's still important to have a plan when using AI writing tools. By being more specific and deliberate with your prompts, you can guide the AI to produce higher-quality outputs.

In fact, this entire comment was generated by ChatGPT.

I used it more as a editing tool for word count. Revise: *insert essay* to 200 words or less. While sticking to prompt: *insert prompt*

ChatGPT is the uprising of AI over Humans, definitely. While I found the tool to lack personality in regards to College Admission essays, but for lower ranked, less selective schools, it is definitely usable. Unethical but efficient.

"The greatest challenge humanity must overcome is not a single problem, but rather the shackles of our own limited perspective, only by transcending it, we can reach true harmony."

Me: That sounded pretty good

Brooke: That sounded a bit cliche

As you discovered, better prompts give better output. GPT4 is coming soon and may be 10x better. We shouldn’t be complacent when we find things ChatGPT doesn’t do well. It will get better.

This is not how you use chatgpt to its full potentional. I️ used ChatGPT to write this please read "To use ChatGPT effectively, it's important to provide specific and detailed input. This can include quotes, context, specific moments, areas, genres, or any other relevant information. The more information you provide, the more accurate and tailored the output will be. When using ChatGPT for writing tasks, such as a college essay, make sure to be clear and provide as much detail as possible. If you want to edit something after the first output, simply ask ChatGPT to edit it and it will generate an updated version for you."

Man a lot of people are in denial about how this will displace their occupation. Usually its the older folks who are so entrenched in their job that they refuse to consider technology could make them obsolete. This will only exponentially improve far beyond what a human would ever be capable of.

Can't these online AI-detecting tools identify ChatGPT-enhanced essays? Then it would be an easy way for admissions officers to identify the students to not admit (assuming the applications explicitly says ``no AI in your essay").

You mentioned test optional and how tests would be a way to make admissions less gameable. But arent standardized tests more gameable? There are courses for thousands of dollars a year, coaching specifics of the SAT or ACT, and its been proven that wealthier students who have greater access to those sources score higher than poorer students, who also deal with other external issues on top of not being able to afford coaching.

chatgpt can't write an entire essay by itself that is good. I use it to write creative conclusion/sublimation and use it to revise grammar and sometimes it give some interesting sentences and idea.
