In Mexico,  Día de Los Reyes (known elsewhere as Epiphany) is celebrated on January 6 to honor the Three Wise Men. This holiday represents the day the Three Wise Men (Los Tres Reyes Magos) gave gifts to Jesus Christ, and the day closes the Christmas festivities.

What I hate about day of the dead is when they out beer on the altar of their relatives. I hate that so much. I seriously do. But you see, I’ve been in this culture for about twenty years. For me it’s not so much another culture as kindof my culture through marriage. It’s rough seeing so much alcoholism be a part of everything.

I'm Mexican and we never celebrated El día de los muertos. I think that holiday has grown because of the tourist think is different and it brings money into towns. I actually think is scary and horrible with all those scary clothes and skeletons faces. Visiting the love ones to the grave and bring flowers it's one thing but to look demonic??

I think they could teach about it without doing it since they’re a Christian school. But then some will think it’s fine. But before I learned the history of it… I didn’t know it was wrong. I don’t think it’s horribly wrong-but just wrong. I once got the baby and my husband made me keep it a secret because he didn’t want me to have to throw the the party…
