Best part is that a few months ago they changed the Hercs loaner ship from a Starefarer to a Cat and MSR. A much more fitting loaner until my M2 and C2 release

Dunno how many times I've seen this vid now bro, but the ship speaks to me and I got the M2, just for the added peace of mind when going through pirate space. If the fuel burn vs fuel capacity is at par or better than the Cat, Great! If it's worse, I sure hope it won't be enough to limit where it could go. Keep bringing the quality content seer!

I have the Hercules C2 Starlifter opting for less armor/guns for more cargo capacity and speed. The roles for my Herc C2 are fourfold. First, my Herc is a medium internal cargo carrier that takes half the crew of a Drake Caterpillar to run. I only use internal cargo carriers such as the Banu MM, the Carrack, the Hercules Starlifter, the Mercury Starrunner, etc. that can land on planetary bodies. While more limited in cargo capacity then the MISC Hull series of ships the internal carriers are more versatile ships in general. Second, my Starlifter is the only designated carrier for vehicles the size of my Nova tonk which means it can deliver a small mechanized unit from my PMC org to a combat zone. Third, my C2 can carry all of my racing ships and bikes in style with parts, pit crew, etc. from one venue to another. Fourth, my C2 is a perfect supply ship for any outpost or base on a gravity well. It can bring in a few snub fighters for point defense, ground vehicles, support ships like Argos as well as cargo for a base. It is the "poor man's Kraken" in this regard. And it also makes a good support ship for a Pioneer base builder carrying extra construction materials, deploy-able defensive turrets and such.

I hope one day we can do LAPES (Low Altitude Parachute Extraction System) drops with the Hercs one day.

The reason I like the C2 over the Cat as a solo player I have control over more defensive weapons and I will be faster to enter and exit atmosphere in the C2 .. i dont need to transport vehicle aside from.a personal runabout like a cyclone

Do you know if 2 medium fuel tanks are bigger than 1 large ? I have found no info on this.
Keep the vids coming . I would get an M2, but will wait to purchase in game, price to high.

I feel like the star lifters are the c17s of Star Citizen.

C2s for run of the mill shipping and M2s for more precious contracts. I never noticed the firing arcs before...hopefully they change it. That rear blind spot is terrible. Yeah it will have escorts, but those guns needs to have better arcs for being a deterrent.
