Here we will have Understanding Horizontal and Vertical Microprogrammed Control unit.
In Horizontal Microprogrammed Control Unit the signals or the bits control words are arranged horizontally. As the number of inputs increases the number of bits in the control word of the microinstruction will also increase.
In Vertical Microprogrammed Control Unit all the horizontal bits are grouped. The number of bits in the control word of the vertical microprogrammed control unit will decrease.
