While I do like the KJV for most things, the Hebrew word there translated “strange” means “unauthorized, foreign, or profane”. Maybe "strange fire" would have made a lot more sense in the context of the day? I am not sure.

.. Shabbat Shalom .. who knows how it is possible that those who use paraffin candles and sulfur fire on 7-branched Menorah or 9-branched false menorah .. reading this portion of the Torah does not understand that they are dancing on a minefield ???
Isn't it better to celebrate God's will by publicly reading it as it is written in the Torah .. rather than reprimanding it in an artificial and false way?
