I wanted to find out if BA would fly special retro flights with the three 747, s painted in the various BA liveries. Or at least do special farewell special flights for those who wanted a last trip on one . This I've been told will probably not happen as most of the airworthy certificates are over 30 days and expired . And special flight certificates will have to be issued for flights to the designated scrap yard ect which I assume would be in Wales . So if it's not possible to get a last trip on one . Maybe BA will give us various dates for flights out of let's say Bournemouth for photo shoots . Just a suggestion. I appreciate that everything is all over the place with aircraft and aviation at the moment . But it would be great to say farewell to a wonderful aircraft .
