We absolutely love our Globecar Summit Prime 640, not only is it small enough to navigate narrow roads, park in town and manoeuvre in tight spaces and is incredibly economical to run, but it also gives enough space for a couple to live comfortably for long periods on the road with ample storage and all of the creature comforts of home.

We bought the van new from SMC Motorhomes in Newark in May 2021. It was in stock, in the showroom, available for immediate delivery and was exactly the specification we wanted. The only thing we've added are the tyres, towbar, a solar generator (Ecoflow Delta 2) and head up display.

Quite a few of you have been asking us to show you around our van for some time and we've always struggled to shoot footage when we're living in it, as it's either very dirty or quite untidy inside 😉. This video is a compilation of shots at different locations for that very reason, we do hope it gives you a good feel for the layout of our van and answers some of the questions you may have.

It can plug into the OBD2 reader of the van but we have simply plugged it into a USB socket on the dash as it also works by GPS (Satellite only).

Our scooter rack came from a company called ''Watling Engineering'' who are unfortunately no longer in business - it bolts directly to the flange on the towbar using 4 bolts. It weights 30KG and can carry a scooter up to 120KG in weight. We carry a Suzuki Address 100cc scooter that weighs 98KG, this scooter does 50MPH with two people on and I would say is an ideal size for a scooter rack.

Evening, Great video as it actually shows what it is like being lived in other then just a show model. Seems to be very spacious and allows a lot of natural light in with the skylights. The thing I like most id the swivel shower unit, so handy and no need for curtain to cover. Once again great vid and thanks for the tour.

Fab❤ we are torn between the Adria twin SLB and the summit prime 640🤔 can you tell me if the prime is winterised...as in are the pipes in the floor or outside underneath the van etc? Also where do the leisure batteries live? 🤔 thank you ❤

Thanks for the tour of your van. Your video says the GVM upgrade only requires paperwork. In the UK do you need a different class licence or is a car licence OK up to 4500kg?
