The Taiwanese carriers are very high on my avgeek bucket list in terms of flight experiences. Although EVA’s are the least eye-catching, i adore all their cabin decor and colour schemes so much. I mean, China Airlines’ A350 business class is the inspiration for my room in my family’s new house.

100% !! I’ve only been on the EVA 777-300ER with the older business class seats.. but I had no complaints about that, ever(!). .. the tipping point into the excellent category for me is the quietly superb and totally professional crew who truly show their dedication and care for the job they do so well..I’m really glad that EVA still want to excel and don’t let any standards slip at all..it seems they just get better and better .. 🙏

I've flown Royal Laurel Business roundtrip EVA LAX to TPE three times in 2023 (all 777's). Their crew, the service and dining is the best I've experienced. The pajamas and amenity kit are beyond fantastic.I have 6 pair now and they make great gifts. Dining on EVA is next level good.

EVA has long been one of my favorite airlines, especially to and from Asia. I began flying with them shortly after they introduced Premium Economy, then called Evergreen Deluxe Class. Their Premium Economy is, for my money, best in the air. And Business Class is akin to First on any American carrier. Will always look for them when making reservations. And I agree with the reviewer, the coffee, freshly brewed, is terrific. Several years back I became ill enroute to Taipei from New York. After attending to me on a blanket on the galley floor and locating a doctor on board, they kindly moved me to Business for the remainder of the flight.

I’ve been binge watching all your reviews - and this was the first time I’m seeing EVA air (I had no idea it was a Taiwanese airline ; and never paid it any attention when it was listed on Traveloka) . nothing just i personally with my friends does think they treat passengers in differently and somehow unabashedly in every class, especially u are crowded in economy cabin lol. sending the pillow they forgot right on ur nose without any calling, like standard procedure for them

I flew EVA a couple months ago from SFO-TPE-BKK round trip in PE on their 777s. The business class cabin in your video looks much better than the one I walked through on the 777s. Those looked a bit cramped and the seats looked narrow. The PE seats in the 777 were definitely showing their age. I had to use a pillow as a lumbar support to not feel a metal bar digging into my back on the TPE-SFO leg.

The crews were quite efficient. The biggest downside was the catering from Taipei. It ranged from adequate to completely inedible (from TPE to SFO). Their catering from BKK was the best, while that from SFO was mostly okay.

EVA is my favorite airline, world wide! I flew exclusively in EVA during the five years I worked and lived in Thailand...I flew Economy Plus, which was located in the nose of the plane...the food was really tasty and I loved the Haagen Dazs ice cream...Also noodles whenever hunger struck in between meals...The seat was large and comfy...I really miss EVA since retirement to the States...sigh.
