Love this topic! I always battle with it - I am a minimalist and my husband and I just completed our debt free journey - paid off $30k in a year and it had a lot to do with nit caring about spending money anymore and not trying to keep up with other people. It can't buy happiness but it can buy safety, health, security, time, necessities AND luxuries and all those do directly lead to a happier human. Plus 90% of fights in marriages and the biggest contributor to divorce are money & money fights. So having enough will cut 90% of the strain out of your marriage/ relationship... which also makes more happiness 😊

I think money buys freedom, and free people are happy people if they're living a good life and using their freedom wisely. So I guess money combined with good decisions leads to a happier life. Thanks for this video. It's so great!

A friend once said to me - Money doesn't make you happy but it doesn't make you unhappy either. It's about attitude and a sense of self. I run my own house & pet sitting business both domestically and internationally. I moved into a small apt in someone's home to save on costs. It gives me great joy to help people with their pets and I make a living at the same time. I started downsizing 2 years ago and don't miss anything. I am still getting rid of things online. I am 70 and can't wait to go international again for my business.

Money takes care of a lot of the things that cause stress in life, so to a point I'd say it buys happiness. But I think only to a certain point. I think that once you pass the point of "comfortable" than more money has diminishing returns on happiness, which is in line with the $75k-$95k you stated!

Money can make your life easier that makes you happy but there's more than this. Money will only give you a temporary happiness but not the true happiness and only few people finds this.
