The movie DID address the complicity of the CIA in the regime change. If Iran doesn't like how the story was told there is nothing preventing them from making their own film about the hostage crisis. A lawsuit seems ridiculous

This lawsuit so far has gone nowhere, as most would expect. Columbia Pictures blew it off, as they should have. You don't want an embarassing movie made about your country - don't go storming the foreign embassies in your country and leave the diplomats alone!

Actually in the opening of the movie, it mentioned about US engineered coup d'etat of Mossadegh in 1953

In what court do they plan on filing a case? A U.S. federal court? What judge would be willing to hear such a case? We have freedom of speech in this country. Every Hollywood film uses "dramatic license" when dealing with history. All educated people know that. You can't depend on Hollywood to learn accurate history for everything. But Ben Affleck certainly has the right to make a film with his perspective of the situation.

actually i feel like the movie portrayed the injustices that the US were responsible for pretty clearly and vividly at the beginning of the movie.. but yes, the iranians were portrayed as overly hateful and vindictive in the movie.. i do wish there were more iranian vloggers or truthers who can tell their side of the story on youtube..
