My mom always made her dump cake with cherry pie filling instead of peaches. Yellow cake mix too, no added sugar of any kind, but just one stick of butter. Oh! And a can (drained well) of crushed pineapple. Sweet and tart together. I haven't made it in a long long time. Hope my memory serves me right.

You forgot a tablespoon of corn starch so it won't be to water . The cornstarch would of made the gravy on the peaches

Drain peaches, use Allouse & Cinnamon. Leave out the brown and white sugar, pour into a pie crust, crumble a 2nd pie crust (better than cake) for crusting, bake 350..peach cobbler not super sugary or runnie w crust, not cakie.
