Thanks, actually just needed the tool, also a little tip: don't forget, thaf if you take some space from a not reserved partition, you can also use windows' partition manager, as it doesn't require a restart, this will get the process going faster 👍🏻

Thanks for your video. I followed your steps almost exactly, except for one thing. I received an error from the MiniTool software when I tried to extend the System Reserved Partition that said "the last operation will create an overlapping partition", specficially when I tried to extend the SRP to the free ~1GB allocated partition I made. I ended up extending the SRP by just taking 1GB of unused space from the main C: drive in the MiniTool software. Then rebooted the PC and it successfully extended my SRP. I'm not sure if anyone else ran into that error with MiniTool, but that's what got me around it.

Used this today (2024-04-20) to fix my updating errors in W10 from the January security update (Windows update KB5034441 Error 0x80070643) . I made the "system reserved" go from 469 MB to 1023 MB and now it worked brilliantly. Thanks for great video.

My laptop's HDD was on GPT but i was able to merge the 2 recovery spaces into 1 (by using override to one of them to change it to unallocated), which is exactly what i wanted ! Thank you so much !

Don showed me EaseUS Partition Master recently as my "Programs" partition was filling fast.
Got to say it was very easy to use and I was able to lower the partition of the files one and increase the programs partition in 1 go before the system restart.
This one though also looks good.

Sometimes I get machines with this problem.
When comes to GPT, it is easy to convert to MBR. Backup, then convert.

I followed the video as described and during the second reboot it failed with an error code of 24, \\Filesystem\ntfsresize.cpp, failed to write sector and told me to run a volume check with the fix option. Afterwards I tried again to extend the system reserve and it failed with the same issues. I then restored my C: partition back to its original size. I decided to try to take the 1 GB from the beginning of the C partition and add it to the system reserve. This actually worked not sure why. It seems that for some reason the unallocated space needs to exist between the reserve partition and the c: partition.

The only issue I have now is there is an unallocated region 534MB between the reserve and c: partitions that I cannot add to the c: partition. I get the same failed to write sector error messages and error code 24.
