Totino-Grace Boys Basketball Beats Maple Grove

Defending state class AAA boys basketball champion Totino-Grace scored a good road win, handing Maple Grove a 65-56 defeat Friday. The Eagles got off to an early lead but Maple Grove’s outside shooting kept them in it. TG had a 26-23 lead at the half. They built the lead into double figures but the Crimson stayed in it down the stretch before falling short. Totino-Grace was led by Patrick Bath with 16 points, with Isaiah Johnson adding 15 and Tommy Humphries 14. Lincoln Palbicki had 14 to lead Maple Grove. Totino-Grace is now 4-2 and Maple Grove is 6-2.
