This version of the Goblin Queen is much better than the comics. I like that Scott was just a good and loyal husband. He didn't immediately move on to Madelyn after Jean's death, only to abandon Madelyn when Jean came back. Plus, it gives a lot of writing opportunities withe the mystery of when Jean was switched out

I'm glad it's going at a lightning fast pace. So many shows take way too long to get things rolling properly, but this show gets to the point quickly and very effectively. It's giving me everything I want as an X-Men fan without lollygagging in the slightest. The perfect pace for a Revival series of the Saturday morning X-Men cartoon! X-Men 97' really took me back to my childhood. Not just because it's a continuation of my third favorite series as a kid, but because of the style and firmula. Shows these days have a season long story, and that works very well for current television. But back in the day, we had arcs that would last two or three episodes and we'd move on to the next story. That's why The Clone Wars was so beloved. It didn't try to stick to one story, it came in arcs that let everyone have a time to shine.
