It’s so damn obvious and brilliant once you see it. It leaves you frustrated you didn’t think of it with how simple it is

Been doing this for years. I know your pain. When you can't find good help, you make your own help. Nice job.

I’m building my entire house by myself. I bought a Sheetrock lift for $160. Much easier, but not as cheap than the blocks. Especially when you have to line up the cutouts for lights. My lift did such a good job that I gave it a raise.

Respect to any one who figures out a way to get it done alone

61 years old here. I thought I was the stuff when I figured this one out as a young man in my 20s. Works great!! Later on though I started renting a drywall jack. Those things sure make life a lot easier. Works great on high ceilings and cathedrals too.

I’ve been in construction over 25 years and never thought of this!

Yep! A single man with determination can do a lot of shit by himself. Back in 1998 met a man 65years old who framed houses all by Jim was an inspiration.

Oh man that is cool. I hung hundreds of sheets of drywall. I am glad you’re sharing this to the young. Whatever more ideas you have get them out there you’re a genius.

Great idea. Never thought of that. Been a carpenter my whole life. However, I can do a 8-ft sheet by myself with my shoulder in the back of my head. Well I could when I was younger. Haven't tried it in years. I'm 53 now. Maybe not so much anymore. I know at 53 I wouldn't try it anymore. I would use your idea😊

I could never get a 12’ board on the ceiling without a lift. I can barely get it on the lift without a helper. My small town lumber yard has a lift that they loan for free with a delivery of rock. Love small town energy.

This is amazing. People can say what they want about the internet and how horrible it is but something this simple being shared by someone can change people's lives, Help them do things they never thought they could do. Thanks for your time and effort making this video for all to see.

Why did I not hear about this 40 years ago. I wouldn't have half the pain I endure today.

Good idea I’ve never thought of that. I’m always yelling at my wife to hold still while I try to screw it in while she’s crying ; it’s heavy it’s heavy hurry up. lol

Damn good It's so simple. Luckily, I don't hang hardly any drywall. But when I am, I'll remember this when I don't have help. Great hack!!

Been in the home building game for 27 years and we put the random pieces of drop off to work on the daily basis... we name them all Fred. Best helper ever!
