Here's a look behind the scenes of Superstore's Cloud 9 set

NBC’s workplace comedy Superstore returns from hiatus tonight to wrap up its fourth season. In honor of its return, production designer Michael Gallenberg and assistant art director Elliot LaPlante invited us to the Cloud 9 Superstore soundstage, where they shoot the majority of the show—and showed how they built it from the ground up.

3:10 The set crew really pulled a Marcus LOL they straight up put a life size picture of another place in the store to deceive like when Marcus put that picture in the parking lot to hide the ice pops

I've been wondering about this set for a while now, I've always really liked set and prop stuff in movies, plays, TV shows, and this always seemed like a lot of detail, I wondered if they were filming on location in like, a transformed store. Cool to finally know what it actually is!

Thanks so much to everybody who made Superstore. I found it by accident but then it became a half hour of laughter that I always knew I could look forward to every week. Superstore helped me recognize the value in the people around me. No matter how crappy the week might have been it was there. It's amazing how much work so many people did to bring me a half hour of joy once a week. Thank you again. I miss you and, embarrassing as it may be, I love you all.
