I filmed this video quite late at night after getting back from a week away. There's always so many planty chores to be done, but I managed to tick quite a few off in this video - some repotting, propagating, pest checking and cleaning as well as giving you some updates on my anthurium clarinervium seeds, my anthurium waroqueanum (the plant I'm struggling with the most) and some other houseplant updates!

another long form. Love it. I keep coming back to your channel, so informative. I find some other plant channels are very consumerist focused which can be a little off putting.

Thank you for this- I'm pregnant and very overdue and uncomfortable. This was perfect to relax to with a cuppa!

Love your videos, very helpful. With the perlite, use a face mask to prevent the dust from going into your nose and throat. Studies have shown that it could be bad for you over long periods of time.

Ha ha, maybe I (you) don’t hate any plants, but I have some that “hate” my environment and show contempt to me by looking like crap or dying, some examples: Calathea, alocasia, Aglaonemas, dracaena (not sanseverias) Rex begonias, orchids (not jewels, want to try those), pilea, Kalanchoe. My lithops (living stones) did fantastic, flowered too! When I lived in hot, dry state, but since I moved north to mountains they aren’t doing well, but still like them. Cool snail story!

I know I'm 4mo late to this party, but I really enjoyed watching this as I work from home. It's like hanging out with a friend :)

I feel your disaster pain and agree that it's nice to put a positive spin on things 😁

I’ve had issues with my warocqueanum too. I purchase two of them on Etsy and the leaves didn’t survive the transit. I was able to take two of the leaves and do a skeleton leaf diy. I spray painted them gold and put them in a black frame with a black background and hung them up in my plant room ☺️ I’ll always have those 😅 But I took the chonks and I’m regrowing both in just sphagnum moss. They both now have tiny leaves growing. One has three! I have to keep them in my greenhouse because they love high humidity. Wish I could keep them out but I live in Las Vegas and it’s super dry here😝
Anyway, great video content, as always!🪴

This was such a fun video! Felt like a friend hanging with a friend! Thank you for making it! Our chinchillas had babies when I was around 10, & they looked like balls of shedded fur - both my sister & I never told my mom, but she almost vacuumed them up one day when cleaning the cage, so we had to tell her - we ended up with a cute army of chinchillas 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Could you talk about root pruning? No one talks about it, but I do it once in awhile, I hear that it’s really good for the plants. There’s one channel that I use to watch that would cut roots back all the time and the plants look great. Now IF that pothos was mine I would have cut a lot of those roots off, it’s just me.

I am watching the last half of your video tonight....I repotted 4 of my anthuriums today....in all terracotta pots....they were holding onto too much moisture....so I hope they love their pots better in time for spring....when I watch videos like yours I end up repotting a bunch too! I think it is safe to say you are an expert!! Never heard of those snails, I am going to look them up....I found a lizard in our home last July and he is still alive and he either hatched or was a stow away with an online plant shippment....so 1 Brown anole, 2 beta fish, 3 girl cats..and hundreds of plants! love all you share with us! Keep going on youtube, you are a star and will go far for years to come!! Your channel is one of my favorites!! It is going yo keep growing fast!! Enjoy the ride....

This was a super video. I have watched many of yours before and I am subscribed, but wow. This one was filled with honesty and a genuine heart. I am glad that you continue to make videos and as a retired vet tech, I have to comment on how gorgeous your dog is! 🤍

really loving these relaxed videos Claire they're so great to watch when I've got plant chores of my own that I need to be doing!! I can't believe you had so many snails and that your mum said yes (mine wouldn't let me get a hamster even) but that's really funny! I hope you are ok now after the 'tragedy that occurred' xx

I LOVED this video! I also just really enjoy the long ones😊 as far as the fastest grower I have I has to be just my regular monstera adansonii! I just have one stem that I got from my friends plant a year ago and I decided to put it on a pole and put it under a pendant grow light on a small table with a few other plants..its now 3 feet tall and the leaves are each 5-6 inches long and getting bigger!😅 I've decided to chop it in the spring and start it over with the more mature leaves because some of the leaves at the bottom of the pole have died off and also it's outgrowing that pole. I'm definitely a bit sad about it cuz I know the leaves might be a little smaller again right after the chop, but hopefully it'll bounce back quickly🤞🤞💚

Sorry about your queen! I do not have one yet....I would love to have one someday also...I do have that green jewel orchid but mine is way smaller....still going but I know abot the nurture from small beginnings....my fiscus has no leaves but I still kept the stem and I have 3 little green buds....so maybe I will get some leaves again....but yes so sorry about the queen, I like videos like this....relaxing and fun to hear about your life and plants and your dog! This month I have had a few casualties with plants and some pest
