UKRI Open Access Review Consultation Information Event

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, UKRI is extending the deadline for submissions to this consultation by six weeks to noon on Friday 29 May 2020. The original deadline was noon on Friday 17 April 2020. UKRI will, however, keep the position under review as the situation evolves.

#UKRI is reviewing its current open access policy via the Open Access Review. UKRI is seeking views on its proposed open access policy and related considerations via a consultation, which runs from 13 February 2020 until noon on 29 May 2020.

UKRI held an information event about the consultation on 27 February 2020 at the British Library in London. Presenters included UKRI Executive Chair Champions for Open Access, Professor Sir Duncan Wingham, Executive Chair of #NERC, and David Sweeney, Executive Chair of #Research England. The event took attendees through UKRI’s proposed #OpenAccess #policy and provided an opportunity for attendees to ask questions.
