Talk’s Julia Hartley-Brewer is joined by former adviser to Clinton and Bush administrations Steve Gill.

Steve says the “trust factor with Zelensky is gone” when it comes to signing a deal with the US.

Julia questions Steve on this, asking “why does Donald Trump feel that Zelensky is someone he can’t deal with, but Putin is?”

Julia.. I’m great fan, but on this point I’m sorry to say you’ve completely got the wrong end of the stick.. NATO have been continuously expanding into countries which were long ago (Margaret Thatcher period) agreed that they would never make these countries members of NATO. If any organisation were parking missiles and soldiers on your bordering countries then the UK would react exactly the same as Russia.. 🤷‍♂️
