Re front camera position, athermic windshield might block GPS signal so suggest you test location before sticking the holder to your screen.

Did you run the wires on top of the airbag? To me that never seems like a good idea to have anything interfering with the safety of the vehicle. It's actually very easy to pop the pillar covers off so you can run the wires underneath the airbag.

How is the Blackvue connected to power?
There is a cigarette-lighter connector provided with the blackvue, but I would like to wire the blackvue to the battery of the car (through the fuse-box), any thought's on that?

How strong is the glue? Will it stick to the glass and stay there forever? What about the cold norwegian winter?

Do you not have curtain airbags to worry about? In my car I had to pull the top of the A pillar out quite a bit so I could thread the wires behind the airbags, which run up the A pillar and along the top of the door. It would be dangerous to just press the cable in without routing around the airbags.

Extension cable be bought at radio shop or accessory shop but 2 wires cable are a little rare. Otherwise, buy cheap power adaptors with similar plug. Just cut and join to the existing cable. Or buy similar type cable and extend the length.If you don't know how to solder then a radio repair shop can help.

Hi there.
Would you please recommend what i should do?
Just took delivery of my dr650gw 2ch. The front camera tucks in nicely behind my rear view mirror. However, as i drive a Honda Civic MY10 and i've discovrred thst my wipers go nowhere near that section of my windscreen... which means, of course, that my w/s in front of the camera will not be clear on rainy days.

The alternative, i guess, would be to mount it on the top n/s or even o/s of the windscreen, where the wioers DO covers. This means that i won't avoid seeing a section of my car's pillar

Is the wet windscreen a bug priblem? What would you do?

Hey Alex - I've got a 2011 328xi e90/e92 do i use the fuse box or the battery for the blackvue magic pro hardwire? Kinda confused with the videos lol thanks! :)

Hey thanks for doing this video, If you have this wired to your battery, doesnt it drain the power quicker? I mean even after you lock the car doesnt it still drain the battery power?

I use the BlackVue DR650S 2CH Over the Cloud. (Thanks! BlackBoxMyCar) The only feature I wish it had is a manual event recording button.

I think your wires are in the path of side airbags, i am not saying it will stop the airbag but it might pull the camera hard and shoot to the passangers face once the airbag deployed. Why not run the wire along the lower door sills or carpet? Thats what i did to make me sleep better. Hope this helps ;)

Could you use the rear camera as an internal cabin camera? I'm a taxi driver so would like a front facing camera and a camera on the internal space of the car .

I have a Camry with the brake light cover on the rear dash.  I just recently purchased the DR650, can I mount the rear camera on the light cover instead of the top section of the window?
