Cybersecurity job is no joke, long hours and panic mode always activated, no real leave (due to nature of job) entry barrier is very high, nobody wants fresher, first 4 years are underpaid...

Only passionate ppl can survive.

Anyone who wants to join cybersecurity career to avoid coding . Pls don't, it takes long hours of practice and effort. It also needs a lot of logic building for penetration testing . Also some companies ask you to solve CTFs in interviews for freshers

I work in Application security and my 2 cents here. Cybersecurity is a very vast area. It covers different teams like - Red teams(offensive security), Blue teams(Defensive security), Malware analysts, Digital forensics, GRC, SOC analysts. Or you can even work independently like a bugbounty hunter. Plenty of jobs, easy to land one if you have some good certifications like OSCP, CISSP. However, this field is no joke, only passionate people can survive, otherwise you will burnout easily. You need to learn new things everyday and keep researching about new threats everyday. Salary is great in USA and other countries but very poor in India for some reason. So if you are passionate and have plans to move out of India one day, then pursue it.

A perfect storm is brewing in the United States. Inflation, bank collapse, severe drought in the agricultural belt, recession, food shortages, diesel fuel and heating oil shortages, baby formula shortages, available automobile shortages and prices, the price of living place. It's all coming together and it could lead to a real disaster towards the end of this year (or sooner).
