With state sponsorship, I had the option to choose MD (PMR, Anaesthesiology, Transfusion Medicine), MS (General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology), or other non-clinical MD courses. However, I opted for DMRD (Diploma in Radiodiagnosis) due to my strong inclination toward radiodiagnosis and radiation oncology, even though I couldn’t secure a rank high enough for MD in those branches. I hope this decision is not a mistake or a misstep in my career.
