I know why some are having trouble. It's because when you buddy up you will ethier jump on eachothers shoulders or connect arms. Do both of these with each dwarf.

OKAY, just got this on PS5. List of steps to follow to easily pop this trophy.

1. Cheats (red bricks) do not disable trophies so use invincibility but nothing else to be sure.

2. if the character you have chosen has brackets following their name. for example Bilbo... (Hobbiton), (Old) Thorin... (Lake-Town), (Young) ETC... DO NOT USE THEM.
the only versions you need to use are the default of each character.

3. you DO NOT need to use each dwarf paired with each dwarf. By this i mean have 1 charater set to thorin permanently then switch to the other character on the field using triangle and change them each time you perform multiple buddy-up attacks.

4. make sure you pair Thorin up with Thorin.

5. when going into character select the game automatically puts you onto the second row, so when selecting make sure you scroll up first because the default versions that you need to use appear on the first row.

6. i will now make a list of the characters you need to use as they appear in game, if your characters name doesnt match the one in this list DO NOT USE THEM. if it doesnt match make sure you scroll up and check thoroughly through your selection screen until you find the correct one because they are all there.

On the PS4 I had to go through the original lineup of dwarfs, along with the Young and Laketown versions of them to get this achievement, just FYI. It's pretty easy. Just play the level as shown and go through your entire character list of dwarfs to unlock. Of course you'll have to purchase them all to be able to finish it.

Ok to confirm I used your method after I went and deleted the update 1.02, and then I got the trophy. I had tried several times before and no luck, then I deleted the update and waalaa it workded on first try. Great videos Thanks!!!!

I've heard you must to this with all the versions of the dwarves (lake-town etc) maybe that only applies to Xbox since they seem to have trouble with getting this.

I had done this in the Battle of Azanulbizar level using your method and the trophy didn't pop, but there were brief cutscenes between the sections. Once I got to the unlimited enemy section I cycled through it again and it popped with the buddies I used earlier — if that makes sense.

It's confusing, but I think you have to do the attacks all in one run? Or maybe I missed one, who knows. If the trophy doesn't pop just try again. That's what I did!
