During my time in the Army, we had a HMMWV burn into a pond upside down. They tried to lift it out with a Chinook with no luck. They brought in a tank retriever, and everybody laughed when I told them it was as good as out. Pulled it right out.

The skidder had the cable attached way higher than the tank recovery tractor... That's not gonna go well for the skidder regardless of weight.
