Trine Dyrholm was spellbinding! She makes you love and hate NICO throughout the film. Definitely worth seeing and definitely should be considered for an Oscar nomination.

I watched the movie, unsure of its accuracy, and I enjoyed it. It is really about Nico's last few years, and they were grim, sad and depressing. The movie is solid, however.
Like Jim Morrison of The Doors fame before her, Nico lived and died in the realm of her art.

She did a good job even though she doesn't really resemble Nico. 1:43 Come on, Variety's "erupts like a rock'n'roll volcano"?! Talk about-over--the-top transparent promotion in the guise of review! I really doubt whomever wrote that actually saw the film. It was probably a generic slogan someone in the boardroom made up.
