I've only ever seen like 1 or 2 episodes of the cartoon and really only knew about Bull Winkle from Full House. That being said, when I was a kid, I had a Bull Winkle "plush" and it was one of if not my favorite toys. It was a really stiff stuffed animal that just gave a really supportive hug and since Moose are strong, it'd protect me from the things that went bump in the night. So, when we got a very severe thunderstorm with green skys, pounding sideways rain, tornado sirens going off, like a "get in the basement right now" kind of thing; I'd demanded my mom run back up the stairs to get Bull Winkle from my room because he needed to be in the safety of the basement to protect us. Of course, it went more like me screeching his name, but mom knew what I meant 😅. I'm pretty sure I still have him somewhere in a box in her basement somewhere.
