This phase will always encapsulate what the feeling a Dead Harsh winter would sound like.

This fight went way too quickly this theme is literally killer

not surprising that the 0:35 is the most replayed part of this ost

I love how all the DLC bosses share a fragment of the main theme each.

I honestly can't help but think of a raging blizzard everytime I listen. Hail raining down like machine gun fire, wind flaying at you with sheets of ice and snow, and the howling torrent plays the core of the meledy in a storm with no eye.

Painfully beautiful. Oh, yes, and the great wolf is always fun to fight.
He says as he gets tossed around like a rag doll.

This is my favourite part of the whole DLC OST honestly. It fits in really well with the fight, especially when you get a "Perfect transition" if you know what I mean? Where the phase 2 kicks in at the EXACT time the phase 1 ends. Kind of wish FROM hadn't made the fight as throwaway as it was. The wolf was cool but the NPC? That's lazy. Would be cool if they made a way for a player to be summoned as the Champions Gravetender though, I personally would love a chance to fight alongside the wolf to defend the grave.

My favorite part of this ost is actually right after the violin goes ham, at 0:50. One of the most melodically beautiful pieces of music I've ever listened to. I know that this does not correspond with what actually happens in the bossfight, but I like to imagine that you and the grave tender sit down, and this is the story that the grave tender tells of the champion, one of incredible glory, the tale of a true legend, yet fated for tragedy and failure all the same. The music is the champion's desperate dance for survival, one which he loses. Such a shame the boss's quality wasn't the same as the music :'(

I liked the sliding wolf but he should be assisted by a bigger, mightier warrior, that in combination with the awesome theme would be one of the best fights in the entire series, Ornstein and Smough 2.0

The first 25 seconds seem to have very similar chord progression to some of Pontiff's phase 2 theme. Which is very fitting.

I just found out my second time through the dlc you can fight the wolf early, before the Millwood ruins area. You can’t kill it there, it just disappears after losing around 75% health

I don't understand why this fight gets so much hate. The gravetender wasn't supposed to be a great fighter. As for the Wolf, that was excelent.

The greatwolf is pretty nice on its own but the NPC+small wolves gank at the start kills what little good this fight does.

I thought this was one of the less exciting bosses but the track is really nice!

This music makes me question why I call my dog Mr. Belly Rubs.

The Farron Great sword turns this fight into a JOKE. Cause the L1 combo stun locks the champion and the heavy damage can poise break the companion

This boss has music? I couldn't hear it over the sounds of parries and a wolf tornado

This guy was pretty hard for me as a first time souls gamer. The Wolf was the bigger problem however
