where I live you could buy a pretty decent gaming rig just for what the 4090 will cost alone. ignoring the fact that the 30 series cards will drop in price again because of of it being "last gen" no matter the pricing of the current gen and second hand market. And waiting to see how AMD react, they could easily take up some more market share with competitive pricing.

In the end I guess it depends on AMD's 7000 pricing and how good DLSS 3 is. wait for reviews IMO.
