I got into collecting diecast cars seriously about 3 years back when I got the 'carbonater' model the bottle opener dragster) Happy new years 2017 edition when I was visiting my parents in Dorset. I have over 500+ now. I love the camaraderie and enthusiasm the collectors have for each other in the comment section of these videos, and the respect they have for the reviewers and Mattel. So refreshing to see. long may it continue, you guys rock. ;-)

For track sets like this I would recommend those with metal bases and plastic bodies, like Chicane. A lot of the cars you tested had metal bodies and plastic bases, which make them top heavy and prone to flip. Also, I would brace your jump. The more the jump moves, the more the cars miss the landing pad.

I would like to have seen how well the set worked if you removed the jump and replaced it with a section of straight track.

So would you say the corners or curves that you would get in a track builder pack like the high speed curve which is sold by itself are better than those corners on that track? Mainly I just need to buy some corners and was gonna buy that track just for the corners and the booster but I bought a single curve from eBay just cost me like$25 for 1 corner

This track isn't really the best track, about half of my collection is incapable of making a successful jump. Some need little nudges at the curve after the jump. Some over speed and at their 2nd-3rd lap they MISS THE PAD. Some for some reason land upside down and I can't seem to identify how/why. Some hit the landing pad but miss the track lands in between. That's because it slowly lost its speed after a coup'la laps. I have mine lay on a simple carpet but it's still kinda unbraced. Not as much unbraced as you though. I also added extension pieces before the curve before the jump. As what the other guy said, try bracing your jump.

Would the 2 red curves be able to connect with regular orange hot wheels track? I cant find curves anywhere. Im thinking about buying this just for the curves. Thanks.

interesting to see you only had a few cars that could continually do this track. I would like to see slow mo close ups of the jump and landing area to figure out why this track gave such a challenge. you could use some of the down hill starter clamps to hold your booster down to the table and maybe some behind the first curve to keep the track from bouncing all around. good learning video Go Go Chicane!

Pretty cool maybe exclusive straight track peices with the design I would recommend putting an unopened 5 pack in the middle of the jump to weight it down
