Показать описание
An experimental music video based on the characters of the Paleo-Hebrew alphabet. This alphabet is nearly identical to Phoenician, and is believed to have been used by the ancient Israelites from around 1000-500 BCE after which Aramaic became more prominent, ultimately leading to modern Hebrew script. This is a one-to-one letter correspondence between Paleo-Hebrew and modern Hebrew scripts.

The characters of the alphabet are processed using Max/MSP/Jitter and are triggered via MIDI from the same sequences used for the drums. The "melodic" sound uses a 22edo tuning, representing the 22 letters of the alphabet.

instruments used:
Yamaha RX5
Kilpatrick CARBON Sequencer
Arturia Synclavier V
Arturia CMI V
Arturia DELAY 201
