The 1995 Houston Rockets are one of the most underrated NBA Champions in NBA History.

Drexler totally deserved to have this championship at the end of his career

Hakeem may have been the best performer throughout the whole playoffs but Drexler was the x-factor. He wanted this championship more than anyone else. I don't think the Rockets would gone all the way without him.

I'll never forget game one. When Nick Anderson missed those last few free throws. It was unbelievable. Probably the biggest choke in NBA playoff history. The guy was never the same after this series. Kenny Smith then followed with one of the most clutch 3 point shots ever. Amazing championship for Houston and a great game.

Hakeem was scary good. He doesn't get enough recognition today imo

To this day this still gives me chills watching it. I remember going to that parade and then Astroworld afterwards! It was a BEAUTIFUL day.

I think the ‘93 - ‘94 team was better, but the ‘94 - ‘95 playoff run was one for the ages.

def the best center of all-time. Not as dominant but much more complete than Shaq and Wilt, much better defense and handling than Kareem, clearly better than David Robinson, and definitely miles ahead of Russell, just imagine the stats Dream would've had playing on the 60's Boston Celtics...

Great memories! I was 24 yo when they went back to back. Now I tell my sons stories about it.

It’s about time we build another one. Go Rockets 🚀

Robert "Big Shot Bob" Horry. Dude always managed to be on the right team at the right time lol... not taking anything away from him tho. Dude earned those 7 Championship rings. Dude had a knack for knocking down the big ass important shots.

as of the 2017 NBA Finals, still the only team (95 Houston Rockets) in the history of the NBA to beat all 4 playoff opponents with at least 50 regular season victories to win it all: Get this;
Utah Jazz (60-22), Phoenix Suns (59-23), San Antonio Spurs (62-20) and Orlando Magic (57-25); a combined record of (238-90), incredible.

Clyde Drexler got his long awaited payback against Horace Grant by sweeping him and the Magic four straight. as for Horace, the next year, 1996, it was MJ and the Bulls turn to blank him 4 straight in their ECF duel. how ironic is that.
