I quit my job in 2018 to become a full-time freelancer because it was pretty cool at that time. But as time passed my clients started preferring Salaried Professionals more because it is very cheap to pay a salaried employee for his/her time rather than paying a freelancer for the work that has been done. In India, Freelancing culture has not yet flourished, and it is miles far from true. I regret my time not getting a proper Job & completing my master's. I was in this bubble that "Who needs a degree when you can just freelance!" My BAD! :(

Free lancing is not about degree or anything its all about skills. One of my frnd without cs degree earning 1 lakh+ per month because he know his work very well and he is expert in that. So guys if u are good at something just do it no matter u have degree or not... Focus on your skills and u can earn much more thn a degree guy.

Exactllllyyyy. I have a total of three years of professional experience producing content for both freelance clients and corporations. Yet I am still working a fixed job at an MNC. These fake freelance motivational freaks really need to stop pushing people in the wrong direction. Freelancing is no joke and requires you to be highly skilled, even more than full-time professionals to land high paying gigs.

It is absolutely true. I have encountered this situation multiple times where individuals inquire about becoming a freelancer and earning a substantial income solely by learning HTML and CSS online, even without a proper degree. I have advised them that if they wish to compete without a degree, they must possess a high level of expertise in the field, as it can otherwise be quite challenging. With a degree, individuals are averaging a salary of 30k, whereas without a degree and with less effort, the path becomes significantly more difficult.

School ho ya college students ke skills par teachers aur parents ko dhayan dena chahiye...aaj ke din me degree se jyada after college real life me struggle karna padta hai isiliye skills aur personality public speaking aur apne confidence badhane par dhayan dena chahiye

I would personally say expertise alone won't help, economical backing is another important thing. Fundings, sponsorship, collaboration etc will come only if you get successful. To prove your talent you have to invest first.
