I’ve been playing competitive tennis as an amateur for years and get nervous playing a match in front of a handful of people. I can’t imagine what it must feel like to be 17 years old and walk on center court in front of thousands of fans for the first time to play a top player. No doubt he was freaking out inside, but those initial big time experiences for Novak helped mold him into the GOAT that he eventually became.
