Would I go every day? Of course! I am a sucker for a good afternoon tea. One of my favorite things is to go to afternoon tea at the fancy hotel near me. To do that every day for days in a row sounds like heaven.

I love afternoon tea.
My roommate and I used to host tea parties for our friends before she passed away. There would be 20 to 25 attendees. We served all the food buffet style. And set up the tea (& coffee) service in the kitchen. We used our best china and sterling silver flatware. I spent days preparing food: shortbread, scones, finger sandwiches, mini sausages, trifle, etc. And everyone dressed up.

Loved it on Cunard cruise we were on. New York around British isles and back to NY. Best month of travel.

Totally agree! Afternoon tea is an iconic daily event included in your ticket. Cunard QM2 at its best.

Will be on the Queen Elizabeth on 13 December for short cruise from Sydney to Melbourne. This is a trial cruise to see if we like Cunard before doing trans Atlantic on Queen Mary.

The afternoon tea alone is a big reason as to why I could see myself taking a Cunard cruise. I’m not a party person so would appreciate the more formal, traditional and dignified atmosphere of Cunard. Viking is probably the cruise line that appeals to me the most though among the lines I can go with (I’m too young for Saga) and I do get the feeling that Viking and Cunard have similarities with each other

I definitely would attend every day! Our church used to host a Scottish Festival every year and I worked in the tea room. I grew to love the tea and all the "goodies".

okay for all of our cruising our first six cruises starting in 2004 we're on Cunard. the afternoon tea was quite an event frequently depended which ship you were on. on the Victoria they did have your standard afternoon tea but they also had a tea that you paid about $30 for when you had like some champagne that sort of thing didn't find the pastries and savory to be anything out of the ordinary. we did the tea in the grills a couple times on the queen and princess grills. that was a much better experience because you had a team menu that you could choose from and I definitely prefer that rather than the plain pot of tea that they would come over and give you no matter where you are on the ship that was pretty bland tea. the ambience however was always excellent. now on to what we consider the finest tea we've ever had: this is been on the number of Oceania cruises we've done. now obviously these ships are much smaller than the Queens. carrying anywhere from several hundred to about 1200 passengers. you generally had a very small table for two to as many as four people in the horizons lounge. the waiter came along with a box containing various teas and you chose the one you wanted. they would then put the tea bag in the pot of hot tea set it on your table and politely inform you to let it steep for about 5 minutes. in the meantime you had tea staff who would come along with delicious savings and outstanding sweets. we do like Cunard very much but Oceania just blows them away sorry canard fans we've experienced both and there is a favorite that we have.

I have the transatlantic crossing on my bucket list. Have you ever noticed any gluten free options for afternoon tea? That would probably be the highlight of the trip! Would hate to have to miss out on it due to a food allergy.

I would absoluteky partake every day. I'll eat less at meals, but tea is one of my joys in life. #best cunard experience
