in active can i say they got me to do this work ( in passive can i say they got this work done by me Are these both sentences are correct. please reply

Hi.. Aly, I am sujeesh from India. I have a doubt. what is difference between "I have been arrested and "I had been arrested". Can we apply past perfect tense in the case of one action. Pls correct me.... Thanks...

The last sounds like a narrator from a Coen Brother's film. "I'd been getting arrested pretty regularly back then, but now that we'd abducted this fine young lass from the corrupt governor, I had felt it was time to live respectably as a part-time cobbler." It all ends in tears--sad for them; manic hysteria for us.

Come to think of it, that might not be the plot for 'Raising Arizona' after all.
