I love the songs of the platters Pero Hindi ko sila era, I was born in 1954, doon palang sila naguumpisa kumanta at sumikat sila, until 1960- up at doon ko naririnigun mga songs habang akoy lumalaki, sa radio, sa juke box USO noon ang juke box, hulugan mo ng 1 peso coin at maririnig mo na ang kanyang choice mo the platters, Brenda Lee, Connie Francis& etc. I love their music

I remember the time when every home in the neighborhood would own a Platters LP record and would play it every now and then . It was amazing that I never grew tired of hearing and listening to it .
I particularly love “Smoke Gets In Your Eyes“, “Harbor Lights” and “My Serenade”, three of my favorites.
