A green colored version of the 1994-2005 logo that was used by KFMB was used by PBS station WDSE in Duluth beginning in the fall of 1995. This logo only lasted for about 3 years on WDSE.

From the 5:32 mark to the 6:56 mark, KFMB uses one of the CBS announcers Alan Berns to open News 8. This is probably the ONLY San Diego station to use a network announcer for news opens. Wait a sec, I think I heard the ABC News 20/20 announcer open for rival KGTV ABC 10 News.
