Boycott Madden until the NFL gives up it's exclusive license. This game needs competition. All games need competition. How long will it takes to get the actual gameplay right. Forget all the extra crap; fix the core gameplay.

Madden Missing: SMALL DETAILS! THINGS THAT COULD BE ADDED
1. Hits that make the helmet come off

2. Injuries that bring out the stretchers, have white stars going around the helmet of those that get rocked by big hits...let them lay there for a few, CPU should choose if a serious injury has occurred.

3.Bring the Cheerleaders back, set them by each Field goal post dancing and cheering their team on.

4. Bring Mascots into the game, place them also around the field goal post cheering their team on..put personality into cheerleaders and mascots so they don't do the same dances over&over again.

5. Random weather, let it rain or snow on and off during the course of the game. If its rainy or snowy

6. More details to the sidelines... players, coach's, Gatorade tables + 1st down markers & referees should all be able to be knocked down if players on the field are pushed or hit while running out of bounds.

7. Stadium : why not add REAL crowd emotions and cheers from live NFL Games (random not the same emotions over&over each game), the fans should be more involved in the game, if a team is loosing by a few touchdowns in the 4th quarter there should be more empty seats with fans being shown walking out.

8. Instant replays on : offense & defensive penalties, including injuries... Perhaps even better instant replays, plus all the penalties that are not in madden should be randomly called like unsportsmanlike conduct, late hits, and everything else.

Bring Madden back to PC! The last release for Madden on the PC platform was on August 14 2007 (Madden NFL 08). With EA having the only NFL license for video games, means their has not been an American Football game released for PC in 10 years! All NFL fans should be able to enjoy NFL video games!!!

Who cares about a story? Watch friday night lights or add in telltale dlc for it. Lets focus on gameplay, realism, and presentation to make every game feel like a broadcast. Fans tailgaiting, in depth half time analysis, rivalry, even some fights, No big additions to Franchise mode... why bro? Basically same game as 17 new engine, slightly improved blockin and a passing system made more than a decade ago cough...Nfl fever 2004, using story to say its a new madden smh

This is pretty much where it started its rapid downward descent to the unplayable drek that it has become now. There truly are no words for how bad this is, or for stuff like this which lets it off the hook for being as bad as it is.

Franchise Mode is light years behind what this was never mind a console ago, TWO CONSOLES AGO. No Restricted Free Agency, no open relocation or for that matter detailed relocation, no Training Camp drills at the start of preseason to improve your players, no Senior Bowl, no real Scouting to unlock full reports on the rookies, no Coaching Trees.

Just a glorified Season Mode that somehow is worse than what we had from M25-17. Gameplay is pretty sad and that's before we even touch how much worse Frostbite made this.

When fan's said they wanted a career mode, i don't think they meant a story mode about some depressed football player's trying to get drafted with country music playing the entire time. What i wanted was a story with YOUR created player when you choose a team in the NFL to play with and a story in between games not.

Where was the footage for Madden 18? So I can watch a movie, AND make choices? Then play only certain moments after? When was the last time franchise mode WAS updated? Not enough to entice me.

Guys am I the only one who has NOTICED this ???   You know how you can set the game speeds from Normal to slower or very slow etc before playing. Well when you do set it from say normal speed to slow speed and then they show the replay when you are playing the game; THE REPLAY of player running or passing ball  IS JERKY like frame rate stutter problem. When your watching their replay after a play that they give you, you notice the player not being smooth when running or when you see the pass and follow it along it is NOT SMOOTH and its JERKY .You set the game at normal speed and it doesn't do that; only on slow and very slow game play speed modes. I have never had  previous Madden games do this (Jerky when seeing their replays ) on slower mode only this new Madden 18 . Please check it out for yourself and drop a comment as to what you find.  Do they need to patch this; is this because of the new frostbite ???  DeX
