Pixar and Porsche return Sally Carrera to the road

Porsche and Pixar Animation Studios are teaming up to create a one-of-one car inspired by Sally Carrera – the charming and witty Porsche from the animated film series, 'Cars'. Creating this street-legal and drivable car celebrates Sally's 20th anniversary and will go to auction for a charitable cause.

Proceeds from the auction will support life-changing programs for girls and young women through Girls Inc. as well as the USA for UNHCR in order to provide aid to children and their families affected by the conflict in Ukraine.

The fact that porsche is so cool with everything they do is why i keep my grandads base model 944 running since he died, as well as my own porsche, they deserve their heritage to be kept alive

I’m the same age as that car. I loved and I mean loved this movie when I was a kid, I dragged my mom to the theater no less than 10 times to watch it over and over again. Crazy that I’m turning 20 next week and so is the car from my favorite childhood movie. Kinda melancholy in a way, I miss being so carefree.

This is wonderful! I'm so happy that they're going to make a special car inspired by Sally--and the money will help children and families in Ukraine! Very cool. My 2011 blue 911 wears the same license plate as Sally. Our family loves the movie. A true classic
