Oh yeah, I love it when tsa confiscates your things then keeps them to make a profit off of it, just like stealing and seeking to a pawn shop except this is legal because government!

I'm crying.
Those Leathermans are so useful at work. I can't imagine how upset were the original owners.

Had no idea the TSA was selling passenger's personal items to the highest bidder after they confiscate them. That seems criminal!

The US postal service should have a purchase point at the TSA to allow you to mail your knife to yourself.

That’s a loss after you take out shipping and eBay fees lol

I’ve never given the TSA anything. I’ve always given my things to someone who is saying goodbye to a loved one. DONT GIVE ANYTHING TO THE TSA!

Minus shipping, selling fees, your time, etc. Might break even

I went to a large amusement park. I carry a knife at all times, so I went all the way from the parking lot (which could have been in another country because of the distance) to the main entrance. There they used a wand to make sure nothing was coming in. I had a fairly nice knife that was average pocket knife size. I had a choice, throw in the bucket of go all the way back to the car. With wife and grandchildren, I had no choice but the bucket. I walked over to the bucket, opened the knife, stood on the blades, pulled up, and broke the blades. I believe the guys wanted the knife because when they say what I was about to do they said don't do that. No way in hell was someone getting my knife free.

God I’d be pissed as hell if TSA took my leather man

Someone isn't considering listing, seller, and shipping fees. You probably didn't even break even my dude....but still awesome find

I’ve had my classic leatherman since I was in high school, by far the best thing I’ve ever kept in my glove box.

I’m a blacksmith in Kentucky, first trip through TSA and I lost a multi tool, a Damascus knife I forged, and something else. Can’t remember Lol was more upset about the first two. The best part is I had several guns in “check baggage” and couldn’t just put them in there, there really should be a dumbass first trip policy for people 1 time and 1 time only!! Lesson learned, I guess 🤨

The thing these kids don't tell you about is the effort required to have to list, package, and then ship all of this crap.

Usually knowingly buying stolen property is a crime.

I’m sorry but the pawn shop down the road has these for $10-$50 at most. No way you turned a profit

I think it's bullshit that TSA steals knives from people they should give you the option to have it mailed back to your house instead of STEALING them

Woah! Never knew that TSA auctions off confiscated items.

Those leatherman waves instantly stood out to me. Great multitool with smooth action. I have one of my own
