Father, thank you very much for explaining the details of exercising salt and water. I have my Missals from the pre- Second Vatican Council era, and the rites are longer than the one you employed, but just as beautiful. I also have noticed that some priests make the Sign of the Cross over the holy water. I like your explanation of the extra " punch" that is received! God Bless you!

Hello Father, I have another question for you. Our chief exorcist here in the Philipines along with the other appointed exorcists usually conduct online blessings for sacramentals such as salt, water, st benedict medals, olive oil and rosaries because of the lockdown. According to them, it is valid; however, other priests, said, it’s not valid or effective. You can actually watch their uploaded videos in youtube; they usually schedule the virtual blessing monthly or weekly. What is your opinion on this? Thank you Fr.

Hello father, how about the new rite of blessings for the water? does it have the same effect althu it is still considered as holy water except the blessing does not have an exorcism part. Sometimes, our priest, in most parishes in our city, just use the sign of the cross with short words. Does it have the same effect? opinion varies with this. thank you father!

Water does not resist. Water flows. When you plunge your hand into it, all you feel is a caress. Water is not a solid wall, it will not stop you. But water always goes where it wants to go, and nothing in the end can stand against it. Water is patient. Dripping water wears away a stone. Remember that, my child. Remember you are half water. If you can't go through an obstacle, go around it. Water does.

Bless your motor vehicle with Holy Water. Do this by adding it to your fuel tank. You will know when you have added enough as your exhaust gases will smell like roses.
