Good option for your vague shifting feel is to replace the shifter box and cables from a honda dc5s/r. It will require a hybrid racing rwd shifter bracket and an adapter for the shifter box of which can easily be made up. I ran this setup in my k24 swapped spyder and it worked well.

I have the MAP cable setup that goes behind the transmission and have been pleased with the shifting. You might want to disconnect the cables and see if "bench shifting" the transmissions feels good. You should also mount the ECU to something. I bolted mine to the top of the EVAP cover and it fits below the storage area plastics.

Which axle setup did you go with and what are your feelings on the map motor mounts? Quite a few options and am trying to see which route is best.

Don't stress about a slightly lean lambda at cruise! Peak efficiency is generally around lambda 1.05/15.44 afr. At cruise loads are low, heat is readily managed and knock is very unlikely- a slightly lean condition here is totally safe.

If you want to ensure your cat works well you should target 1/14.7, and ideally have some hysteresis around this range to let the cat cycle properly.

Is that the mr2 transmission? Or is it a Honda transmission. Did you use an adapter plate?

AC is pretty simple Mine has had AC since 2020ish and think its even easier now.
