First improve your customer service, then only you can dream of being at par with international banks. SBI has been the banker for older generation, but as far as the current scenario goes, SBI lags far behind from other banks.

1) The phone banking officers are there just to provide the branch's contact details. provide more authority/right to them to serve the customers.
2) Provide facility to email the bank after logging into onlinesbi
3) Train the banking staffs to respond to customer emails promptly.
