I mean, he sounds more like a person that puts money in front of his own standards and doesn't even get fresh food when he can easily afford it than like inspirational person. Whats the point of having money if you can't spend it, its just paper that you give people. Eat well, travel a lot, learn every day. Thats all you need. Money won't follow you into your grave, so don't spend life looking for umbrellas in the dumpsters and asking your neighbours for leftovers. I believe he has a way of earning money thats not searching for free trash. Even if we ignore all other bad things about this, you can still easily get sick from those leftovers and one day, he will probably regret not spending any money on at least standards. Its ok to save but to the point where you eat someones leftovers while you can buy food yourself, thats a big no no.
