The first sculpture is called ‘’The dying Gaul’’ it is a Roman marble copy of an original lost Greek sculpture (220 BC). The original may have been commissioned by Attalus I of Pergamon to celebrate his victory over the Galatians, the Celtic or Gaulish people of parts of Anatolia.

The second sculpture is the Mšecké Žehrovice Head from 150–50 BC found in Prague, Czech Republic. It depicts a Celtic hero.
