The Chuckbox in Tempe named the best burger spot in the Valley

Went there as a kid when they first opened, and I can tell you they have not changed much. Walking in is, to me, akin to a time warp to when I was age 10 and my Mom was going to ASU. This place was our "treat" as kids if we behaved well. It's very good. Not positive if it's the best in the Phoenix area (I can think of a couple others), but there is no doubt the Chuckbox is an excellent choice.

When I worked at ASU we loved to go to the Chuckbox. Great food - just try to get there early so that you can find a parking space! :)

As an ASU alum (Class of 2016) it’s such a trip to look at the corner of College Ave and University back in the day… Looks really odd without the Palm Walk Overpass and the Fulton Center in the distance East of the Newman Center Church

Honestly I wish there was a way to walk all across campus in the 1950s in Google street view

Shoutout to the Chuckbox though- Just a great place for a simple, honest, backyard grill-style burger
